I have no idea how to review this. It was always the CD I’d put on before going out when I was around 18, so it’s definitely served a purpose. Out of that context though, it’s never been something I’ve listened to intently and it’s quite tough to do so.
I picked up Sharpen Your Teeth from a bargain bin a few years ago and have largely ignored it since. In what is slowly becoming a recurring theme of my reviews, it’s one I wish I’d listened to more.
I’ve never been completely sure about Badly Drawn Boy. I quite liked the singles I heard off the debut album, but it was never really top of my to-buy list.
